Kids fear the unknown the most when it comes to a visit to the dentist. We take our time to explain steps to our young patients and make sure they are comfortable before, during and after all appointments.
The #1 reason adults are fearful of the dentist is due to a poor childhood experience. For most kids, loving the dentist does not involve seeing a specialist. Finding someone who cares and enjoys providing high quality care is enough to make it fun for everyone.
We provide cleanings, fillings and for those who need it; baby root canals, space maintainers for lost teeth to prevent movement of the permanent molars, baby tooth crowns and removal of teeth. We also have the option of laughing gas for the more in depth procedures to make sure our child patients are comfortable.
Lastly, did you know that one dose of Tylenol and one dose of Advil taken in coordination and having your child eat a healthy snack pre-appointment will help increase numbness in our young patients and ensure comfort? Something to keep in mind for the nervous youngster.
